Hard to believe, but it’s time for us sewers to start thinking Christmas , and here to help answer the “What shall I get started on?” question is Crescent Santa! This new in-the-hoop project comes in 2 sizes, both 6x10 hoop (finished size 16 1⁄2”x14 1⁄2”) and 7x12 hoop (finished size 19 1⁄2”x16 1⁄2”), not including the extra length provided by the dangling stars. Each size consists of 8 design files, and all the project pieces feature front and back fabrics, firm fusible interfacing and dense fleece batting, and, of course, lots of decorative stitching. The Santa pieces are all connected to each other in the hoop and after he is complete, the optional holly piece is hand-tacked or glued in the position of your choice, the star pieces are wired together and attached through the included eyelets, and then comes the optional fun decision of “to bling or not to bling”.
