Whether you create this project or design your own, everyone is sure to love the Baby Peacocks. For the project we created a 6 block wall hanging using the larger 6″x10″ peacock designs. Each block is 10″ x 14″ when finished (don’t forget to allow for seam allowances). First we embroidered all of the peacocks on a white cotton fabric with a small tone on tone pattern. Then we added a 1″ border between each block using different shades of blue grosgrain ribbon and then framed all four blocks with 2″ of the turquoise marble fabric. Once we were finished we bound the wall hanging with the gold marble cotton. There is an additional baby tutorial located on the CD-Rom that showcases different types of quilt patterns as well as instructions on how to create applique and stuffed animals as well.
