Our Mission

At Anita Goodesign, we have a passion for machine embroidery and quilting, and an even bigger passion for sharing our creativity and knowledge with you! We offer a wide range of embroidery, quilting, and project collections for crafters everywhere, from beginning embroiderers to experienced quilters and sewists! We strive to consistently produce not only the best and most original designs, but the most in-depth tutorials and education to top it off.

Design Process

Artwork

Everything starts with an idea.

We have a team of artists who draw or paint every single release that we ever come out with from scratch.

Every piece of artwork we use is completely original and created uniquely for our collections.

Digitizing

All Our releases are hand-digitized.

That’s what sets Anita Goodesign apart – we go into each piece of artwork and place the actual stitches. This allows us to create realistic animals, hand-shaded flowers, and authentic-looking hand-stitched designs, truly capturing a wide array of different art styles.

Embroidery

We stitch every design.

The designs are stitched out step-by-step. This is when we check for errors, choose the colors, fabrics ,and make sure your embroidery designs are beautiful.

Our team makes sure that our customers have everything they need to successfully create with our designs, access Anita 365 Club, and make sure our customers are heard.

A Letter From our Founder

Anita Goodesign can trace its beginnings to 1994 when I, Steve Wilson, purchased my first personal computer. One thing led to another and I began to teach himself graphic design, then machine embroidery, and then combined the two when I set my sights on digitizing. This evolution allowed me to go from working with standard, generic embroidery to original, custom-designed works of art.

More than 20 years later and Anita Goodesign is unquestionably the top embroidery design company in the world. We are based out of the Charlotte, NC area where we manufacture all of our products from conception to completion.

In the future, I see Anita Goodesign even bigger than ever! We plan to become even more diverse in our offerings and produce even more education, virtual events, videos, and even books! I look forward to exploring this future with you.
