We are sew glad that you are in the seat for our newest class in the Anita’s University line up: In the Hoop: 501! We’re excited to think inside the hoop and to show you all of the endless possibilities that are awaiting you there. As the name suggests, everything in this class will be created inside your hoop and will make unique, fun, and useful projects. You’ll also be excited because we have included projects that have never done in class before. Let’s look and see what all you are going to learn!

We have broken down all of the projects in the 501 curriculum into different categories: Free Standing, Projects, Lifestyle Accessories, and Bonus Designs. Let’s look at these exciting techniques a little closer. Under the “Free Standing” category you’ll see how to create tags by adding elastic bands so that they can be used in a myriad of ways. Use them to label your stabilizer rolls or your favorite bins of craft goods. Want to create personalized canister labels for the kitchen? Well, now you can! We’ll show you how to merge text into different shapes so that you can create a truly unique and usable tag, wherever you choose to use it. You will also discover how to create beautiful sun catchers by using vinyl and organza as appliqué. Want to create an elegant bowl made entirely out of lace? We’ll show you how! Under the “Project” category, you will see how we create useful items like pin cushions, needle cases, book corners, and more. You’ll not only learn how we create our popular dangler designs, but we are going to stitch one out as well – a first for any Anita Goodesign class! Need some projects to help get you organized? Designs under our “Lifestyle Accessories” will do just that. From a checkbook cover, a keychain bag, to a luggage tag, you will be able to make great gifts or accessories to get you on your way!
