This first volume of the Artful Embroidery add-ons has a little bit of everything. The Collection starts with my Bandana Backgrounds. I have  been using these designs for years and am excited to add then to the artful embroidery library. There are also 3 different large western designs, The Bull, The Painted Horse and the Steer Skull. The majestic butterflies are big, bold and beautiful The guitars are among my most realistic designs ever and the skulls round out out the never before released collections. There are also a few of these collections that have been previously released but have been imagined for The Artful Embroidery Series. They have been re-digitized and re-imagined in new sizes and colors. These include the Abstract Birds, Dog Portraits, Cat Portraits and Tarot Cards.

Full color pictures of all of the designs along with the color steps are included in the release as well as all of the cut files you will need to create your mounts.

I have been creating butterflies for a long time. They have been an integral part of my art pieces and I have designed dozens of variations for Anita over the years. I have recently started creating wall installations with larger versions of the butterflies.  After showing them at the event a few weeks ago everyone there encouraged me to release them for Anita so here we are. These butterflies are like nothing you have ever seen before. The detail in each one is stunning, they are truly art pieces. My studio sells the wall mounted butterflies for $200 to $600 each. They have more detail because they were designed to be large and free standing.

The Butterfly Studies collection is entirely different. This collection was designed to be stitched at large sizes. The Signature butterflies went from 2.5” to 5” or so and the detail in them was meant to be stitched at that size. The Studies start at 6” and go to 12” so the detail in each butterfly is like nothing I have ever stitched before. They are stunning! 

Every Butterfly in this series was created from real species and digitized stitch by stitch to produce these amazing specimens. They are meant to hang in a frame or be arranged n a wall in a frame. I have created formed butterfly art for 7 years now and now you will be able to do the same at home.
