Hello everyone! It’s Brooke here, your Content Specialist from Anita Goodesign! I am so excited to join you on this journey as we stitch the perfect blog together. Whether you are brand new to Anita Goodesign or a devoted embroidery enthusiast, I want to share a little bit of our background with you so you can get to know us a bit better!
The story behind Anita Goodesign traces back to 1994 when our founder, Stephen Wilson, bought his first computer. He began by teaching himself graphic design, and then embroidery. Eventually, he combined the two, taking on the new art of digitizing. This was only the beginning of what would eventually become Anita Goodesign.
Fast forward 20 years later, and Wilson now owns one of the top embroidery companies globally with just under 50 outstanding employees! From conception to completion, Anita Goodesign manufactures all of its original content and collections right in Charlotte, North Carolina. From designing and digitizing to prototyping and tutorials, our team is exceptionally talented and we always aim to provide you with top-notch embroidery collections, tutorials, and education.
Anita Goodesign creates one-of-a-kind embroidery and in-the-hoop quilting designs. We offer these designs in our monthly All Access membership. Each month, members receive our brand new embroidery designs in a beautiful, full-colored book that contains illustrated tutorials for all the design collections released that month. All Access can be printed and mailed or downloaded directly as a digital book PDF—your choice! Each issue also includes members-only material, such as leading industry insight, exclusive “Coming Soon” sneak peeks, exclusive bonus designs, and so much more! Through the designs themselves and the magazine, All Access provides everything you need to enjoy your passion.
Aside from what we offer here at Anita, being present on social media is essential to us. We love connecting with you while you’re in the comfort of your own home, which is why we are here for you on more than just one platform! While we offer assistance on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and our email, we wanted to reach out through a new creative avenue, which is Anita’s Blog!
As someone who really enjoys stitching with you live, I knew there was no better way than starting up Anita’s Blog. You’ve probably seen me on Facebook and YouTube helping teach you how to create amazing projects, and I have been by your side with tutorials and construction videos. Now, we get to be even more creative together as we work on projects and topics that expand the opportunities of each collection we have available for you here at AGD!
I truly believe this blog will be a great addition to Anita Goodesign. Together, we can create the ultimate space for embroidery and quilting.
