The creation of this extraordinary collection was a labor of love that spanned months of planning and meticulous attention to detail. It all began with rough sketches and a vision to bring the Nativity scene to life in a unique and captivating way. Our talented artist, Ginny, was entrusted with the task of painting the scene, infusing it with warmth, depth, and a sense of reverence.
Once Ginny's painting was complete, the real work began. We meticulously scanned the design and carefully set the grid sizes to ensure the perfect composition for each tile. We wanted this Nativity scene to have a grand and majestic presence, so we designed it as a 20-block tile scene, allowing for an expansive portrayal of this sacred moment.
The digitization process was a true labor of love. Each block in the tile scene contains an immense amount of hand shading, meticulously applied to create depth, dimension, and lifelike details. In addition, we incorporated several appliqué techniques to minimize the number of stitches and enhance the overall visual impact of the design.
