Bandana Backgrounds- Artful Embroidery

I’ve been using bandana-inspired backgrounds in my artwork for years, and they’ve always been a crowd favorite! Their intricate stitching and dynamic patterns are truly captivating. Until now, I’ve stitched them on both fabric and paper—this is the first time we’re offering them as an Artful Embroidery Add-On Collection for Anita customers.

These bandanas make stunning backdrops for any project—or even on their own. You’ll find instructions in the Artful Embroidery book for stitching on both paper and fabric. To create each piece, stitch the design four times, rotating it 90° each time to complete the full bandana pattern.

The collection includes five sizes:

6”x6” for a 12” bandana

7”x7” for a 14” bandana

8”x8” for a 16” bandana

9”x9” for an 18” bandana

10”x10” for a 20” bandana
