Fabric Strip Christmas

A few months ago we created separate fabric strips in our embroidery hoop and then used them in a separate quilt block. Why would we do this? The answer is simple, using the traditional method of fold fabric you couldn’t create blocks like these since the last fold would be open ended and not finished. If you create the strips before hand you have a lot more possibilities. For this version of the technique we wanted to create Christmas designs, the designs are very unique, they almost look pixelated and are fun to create.
