Welcome to Floraganza, where floral meets organza! This project stemmed from our love of flowers. Whether you love roses, sunflowers, calla lillies, tulips, or any other kind of blooming arrangements you’re sure to find a flower in this bouquet for you! We love to embroider flowers and we were experimenting with different fabrics and embroidery techniques. We came up with the idea of using different layers of organza for the applique fabric. Depending on how you layer the organza you will come up with a very unique background. We then went even further and digitized multiple layers of shading into the flower petals and leaves using multiple layers of stippling. Stippling isn’t just for quilts, they add depth and a unique look when they are used in embroidery designs. You can use organza as the applique on theses designs or you can choose any other type of fabric. You can bring these designs to life on clothing, bags, and home décor. You can brighten up any room, outfit, or accessory with these flortastic additions!
