Not many things in this world are as beautiful or as delicate as a snowflake. With Anita Goodesign’s collection, Lace Snowflakes, we copied nature’s artwork. Each snowflake is a unique masterpiece of icy crystal, woven into a fine lace sculpture.
All twelve designs are stitched out using the traditional free standing lace technique. This means they have been specially digitized for water soluble stabilizer. When the water soluble stabilizer is removed, a beautiful lace snowflake will remain behind. Free standing lace is a simple technique to master, as it uses minimal thread changes and is always stitched on a water soluble stabilizer. Run a few embroidery steps and you will create your very own blizzard of beautiful lace snowflakes.
