Legends of the West
Legends of the West
Some designs come together quickly, and some ask you to slow down and give them everything you’ve got. Western Icons is the second kind. Every design in this collection was hand digitized, stitch by stitch, to capture the kind of detail you’d expect from a vintage keepsake: the flowing mane of a palomino, the tooled leather on a saddle, the weathered steel of a lucky horseshoe, and the shaggy coat of a Texas longhorn.
Inside you’ll find 12 designs celebrating the classic symbols of the American West, including a blooming saguaro cactus, wild horses running under a starry sky, a longhorn, a ranch gate, a bronc rider, a lucky horseshoe, a palomino portrait, a covered wagon, cowboy boots, a revolver and holster, a coyote howling at the moon, and a western saddle. A few of the designs feature bandana-print fabric backgrounds that add an extra layer of texture and charm.
These designs make a perfect companion to the Western Pennants collection, but they shine just as brightly on their own. Stitch them directly onto a jacket, a denim shirt, a tote, or a pillow, or create them as patches and build a collection worth showing off. However you use them, the detail in every stitch is what makes them truly iconic.

You may be wondering — why patches?
We actually sell finished patches through our sister company, Wild Threads, an accessory brand that creates charms, patches, tote bags and more, sold directly to customers and retail stores nationwide.
We wanted to bring that same experience to our Anita customers — except you have an advantage most people don't: your own embroidery machine. That means you can actually make your own! And the timing couldn't be better — personalization is the hottest segment in accessories right now.
You'll notice the downloads are priced much lower than the finished patches. Some of these designs take hours to stitch, which is why the physical patches carry a higher price tag. If you have no desire to buy the finished product, that's perfectly fine — you can always stitch your own. We just wanted you to see what we charge for the finished piece, so you can appreciate the real value of what you're downloading.
Patches are available as downloads or you can purchase the patch itself
We brought the Wild Threads Patches to you!
We brought you the Wild Threads patches already stitched up and ready to go. Or, if you're the type who'd rather make your own, we've got you covered there too. Honestly, we offer both because we only put out downloads we'd actually want to stitch ourselves.
