Every Mahjong player knows the bird. In the classic game, the One of Bamboo tile is drawn as a little bird instead of a single stick, and for many players it’s the luckiest tile in the set. Our Lucky Bird is a stitched tribute to that tile and your first look at the upcoming Mahjong collection.
This plump little sparrow sits on a bamboo branch, stitched in coral, teal, marigold, and cream against a deep navy background. He has a patterned wing, a speckled chest, and a bright yellow beak. “Lucky BAM” is lettered in script below him, and a metallic gold edge finishes the patch with a bit of shine.
Stitch him as a patch for a mahjong bag or tile case, or put him on a tote, a pouch, or your favorite jacket.

We wanted to bring that same experience to our Anita customers — except you have an advantage most people don't: your own embroidery machine. That means you can actually make your own! And the timing couldn't be better — personalization is the hottest segment in accessories right now.
You'll notice the downloads are priced much lower than the finished patches. Some of these designs take hours to stitch, which is why the physical patches carry a higher price tag. If you have no desire to buy the finished product, that's perfectly fine — you can always stitch your own. We just wanted you to see what we charge for the finished piece, so you can appreciate the real value of what you're downloading.
