What's included with Mariner's Compass?
Compass Blocks
We have included 15 different compass designs featuring beautiful appliqué and and folded fabric for a dimensional effect, and intricate quilted backgrounds.
Curve Blocks
These new Curve shapes will add a unique scalloped edge to your finished quilt. You can use these shapes in combination with the squares to make center pieces or table runners.
Unique Borders
There are tons of border options, including scalloped borders, mitered corners and our new cross pieces. The cross pieces go between the larger blocks to add exciting transitions.
Each full compass layout is made up of 4 of the compass pieces. They can be arranged 2 different ways by rotating the blocks either clockwise or counter-clockwise for 2 completely unique looks for each design! With so many variations, the possibilities for your Mariner’s Compass quilt layout are endless!
You will see many examples on the included tutorial of possible types of arrangements you can make with the Mariner’s Compass collection. With so many possible combinations, you can create hundreds of different quilts! Don’t forget, there are also 19 individually stitched designs included that you can use to embellish coordinating pillows and a myriad of other projects!
