A Little Taste of New York
Before our full NYC collection hits the streets, we’re giving Anita’s Studio members a sneak peek with two designs that capture the city’s skyline and its sidewalks.
The Chrysler Building rises from a soft bank of clouds in shimmering aluminum and metallic gold, with every Art Deco arch and glowing window stitched in. A “42nd & Lexington” banner at the base marks the spot. It’s elegant, iconic, and pure Manhattan.
Then there’s our Pigeon, the true New Yorker. He’s in his NY cap, has iridescent purple and green neck feathers, and holds a salted pretzel. He’s got the attitude, the snack, and the city in his bones.
Both designs come in single and multi-patch versions and are created as patches. Full patch-making and attaching tutorials are in the Education section, or you can skip the first two steps and stitch them straight onto a jacket, tote, or cap.
This is just the beginning. The full NYC collection is on its way, and Studio members are the first to see where we’re headed.

You may be wondering — why patches?
We actually sell finished patches through our sister company, Wild Threads, an accessory brand that creates charms, patches, tote bags and more, sold directly to customers and retail stores nationwide.
We wanted to bring that same experience to our Anita customers — except you have an advantage most people don't: your own embroidery machine. That means you can actually make your own! And the timing couldn't be better — personalization is the hottest segment in accessories right now.
You'll notice the downloads are priced much lower than the finished patches. Some of these designs take hours to stitch, which is why the physical patches carry a higher price tag. If you have no desire to buy the finished product, that's perfectly fine — you can always stitch your own. We just wanted you to see what we charge for the finished piece, so you can appreciate the real value of what you're downloading.
