All of these shadow work blocks are topped with batiste, which is a semi-sheer, cotton fabric that diffuses the colors underneath without completely muting them. The resulting effect of the batiste over vivd fabrics will create beautifully-colored quilt blocks that stitch out quick and look amazing!
