Sport Fishing

At every event I receive requests for realistic animal designs or realistic nature scenes. Among the requests are for fishing and sports fishing designs. The request is always followed with “make sure they look realistic.” I take every suggestion seriously and this one has been in my notebook for a while. The first edition of Sport Fishing contains 10 different realistic designs for the large hoops. Each design comes in a version that is 7”x12” or 6”x10” and they all include a variation for the 5” x 7” hoop. Most of the fish use applique as a background to help keep stitches down and prevent the design from sinking into the fabric. For our project we stitched the design on a men's sweatshirt. The designs would also look great on home decor items like pillows and accessories like tote bags.
