Each embroidered flag in the collection features a striking floral design that beautifully represents the iconic stars and stripes of the American flag. By embroidering on a white base fabric, you'll let the embroidery shine to show off the flag shape of your choice. To use white lace like we did, simply use an iron on interfacing to the back of your lace!
Each flag is created with a modified version of folded fabric in order to create a channel for a flag pole. After your embroidered design is stitched, you can simply trim the flag to a 1/2" seam allowance and either hem the edges or leave them raw.
BONUS TIP: You can skip the first 2 machine steps in these design files and run the motifs as standard embroidery as well!
