Butterfly Wall Mounts – Transform Your Swarm into Art

After countless requests, I’m excited to offer my signature butterfly mounts as a standalone product for the first time. These are the very same mounts I use in my original butterfly swarm installations—now available to collectors and creatives ready to elevate their display into a true wall-mounted art experience.

Crafted from precision laser-cut black acrylic, each mount is hand-molded into a sculptural, dimensional form that allows the butterfly to float off the wall in a dramatic, lifelike presentation. A custom-engineered bolt is securely fixed with industrial epoxy, ensuring durability and ease of installation. A rubber washer is included to prevent over-tightening, preserving both the butterfly and the wall surface.

These are the mounts only and do not include the embroidered butterfly or the stitch file. The embroidery files are available individually or as part of the Butterfly Studies set.

Each kit includes:

• One handcrafted acrylic butterfly mount

• Wall standoff post

• Screw and anchor hardware

• Easy-to-follow installation instructions

Installation is simple:

1. Screw the included anchor into the wall.

2. Insert the screw through the standoff.

3. Attach the standoff to the wall.

4. Thread the butterfly bolt into the standoff—done.

Each mount is tailored to the specific butterfly and size—available for all 50 butterflies in 6”, 8”, 10”, and 12” versions. That’s over 200 individual mount variations, ensuring the perfect fit for your piece. Please be sure to select the correct size when ordering.

All mounts are made to order by hand in our studio. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for delivery.

Butterfly Studies

I have been creating butterflies for a long time. They have been an integral part of my art pieces and I have designed dozens of variations for Anita over the years. I have recently started creating wall installations with larger versions of the butterflies. After showing them at the event a few weeks ago everyone there encouraged me to release them for Anita so here we are. These butterflies are like nothing you have ever seen before. The detail in each one is stunning, they are truly art pieces. My studio sells the wall mounted butterflies for $200 to $600 each. They have more detail because they were designed to be large and free standing.

These butterflies were designed to be wither framed or mounted on your walls. You will never look at embroidery the same way once you see these designs. We will teach you how to frame the butterflies using materials purchased from Amazon or mount them on your walls. The only question you will have will be "Which one do I create first?"
